Meet JaclynBEyoga teacher.
My yoga journey began in 2009. I started practicing yoga simply to relieve sore muscles. In college, I began working in a studio downtown. This opportunity allowed me to explore the business side of yoga. Since then, yoga has grown to be a very significant part of my life. Over the years, I explored many styles of yoga including vinyasa, hatha, restorative, yin, power, bikram, prenatal, and kids yoga. I am a Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance and certified in Level 1 Reiki healing. As an elementary school teacher, I am naturally drawn to the benefits of practicing yoga with children. In our classroom, we regularly use yoga as a tool. Students use different forms of yoga for daily goal/intention setting, calming strategies, brain breaks, focusing tools, body awareness, confidence building, and to simply have fun! My personal philosophy behind my love for the practice is simple. I believe that self-discovery and ultimate healing happens each time we step onto our mats. Physical practice, or asana, is the tangible work we do in order for the internal work to coincide. Yoga provides us with tools to uncover the power that already resides inside each and every one of us. Time and time again. I am so excited to practice with you! See you on the mat! XO - Jaclyn |

Meet Elisabeth
Wondering who captured the awesome shots in the gallery?
Check out www.elisabethlynchphotography.com ! I picked up my first camera when I was ten to shoot pictures of my newborn nephew. I fell in love with him and with capturing those precious moments and haven’t put my camera down since! Three kids of my own, eleven nieces and nephews, and 5 grand nieces and nephews later, I still love the feeling of “capturing a moment”. As a photographer, my goal is not to just help you remember, but to put you right back in the moment. I want your senses to come alive because I captured a feeling, not a photo. My passion comes from “catching” people doing things they love – theatre, sports, yoga, or spending precious time with family and friends. Shooting the first moments of BEyoga was an incredible opportunity! It was raining on the evening of our planned shoot, but rather than reschedule, we decided that the rain only helped to tell the story of what BEyoga is all about. |
